I will have to withdraw to FSX Deluxe, FSX Acceleration Pack remainingĪ very nice but yet unfulfiuled promise. In view of the numerous discussions about this topic ont the Internet, I suspect that something is terribly wrong with this FSX Acceleration Pack. Of FSX Deluxe is lost until you uninstall the FSX Acceleration Pack again. There is a registry fix for the upperfilters at the Microsoft games Flight Simulator x support site.I had the same problem after a reinstall and it worked like a charm. To the 2 gents having the technical problem messages when trying to activate. The installation has succeeded but lacking proper activation you are constrained to a lousy half an hour to do your job. No way to activate, neither by Internet nor telephone.

Now every time I start FSX Acceleration it wants me to activate it again. I would like to know if i will be able to move my FSX-SE install to my flight sim HDD without any problems from addons ect. Since i have installed FSX-SE and all of my addons i am running out of space on my Games HDD (Mostly steam games) i have uninstalled FSX-O when i bought the steam version. I recently bought FSX Gold Edition (FSX Deluxe on 2 CD ROMS and FSX Accleration Pack on 1 CD ROM).Īpart from confusion about having to install SP1 or not (FSX XP includes SP2 and SP2 requires SP1 to be installed), and apart from defragmenting the volume on which FSX is installed, I keep getting the following error messagw: 'We 're sorry, an unexpectedĮrror occurred which is preventing product activation from being completed, ERROR CODE 1-8004005. Installed Flight Simulator X, Flight Simulator X Acceleration, activated both programs. So i have a seperate HDD specifically for flight sim (FS9 and FSX-O).
